This recipe is borrowed from a UVA sorority sister’s Mom and reminds me of falls spent in Charlottesville, Virginia. Not only are they delicious – but they also provide the same kind of warm and fuzzies that care packages and handwritten notes from home provide to a college student. Since graduating in 2011 I’ve made the muffins each fall and they still offer the same cozy, seasonal comfort – only this time I’m making them for my children.
